Does anyone think that our Father through this generation is going produce some serious champions for Christ? I just thought this, concerning scripture, for a long time, it felt as if Christians were just throwing out scriptures and using them very similar to a pros/cons list, or throwing them at people with no context (especially when it comes to questioning other peoples faith in Christ, gay marriage amongst other things) but I feel this generation is really going to open the door so its understandable to not only us but to reach out to the lost in the world. I think the understanding has been kept from our sight for way too long. Such as this, Take up the shield of faith to extinsguish the fiery darts of the evil one, I say this one alot but I never completely understood it. I think the understanding here is that our faith is a shield against the enemy meaning whatever doubt that comes, whatever thought that rises to make you question your salvation, your Heavenly Father and where you are at right now, the Lords faith meaning his restoration, His love and His promises to you will not be affected by the enemys lies and will in fact shield you -- you are saved and what the Lord has planned for you, no one will be able to counteract against it.
