Does it get any better at a certain point when a B loses their partner in crime? We had to put down lacie recently and her brother is going insane. Its bad over here. They have been together 11.5 years so he was never lonely. Hes always a dog who needed attention and someone/something there so Im not surprised hes upset. But slowly as the days go on its getting worse. Like he is constantly searching (digging into boxes, bags, counter surfing, getting into clothes, finding any and all trash, digging the pillows, looking under the covers, scanning every single room). Which brings me to the next part where he is constantly pacing. He doesnt calm down unless its bed time and at that point he passes out from sheer exhaustion (this is a dog who loved to sleep 24/7 basically). And he freaks out if I go in the next room, and then loses his mind when I have to leave the house. Hes peed on our bed and pooped in every room in the house. Peed and pooped in his crate. The doggy Xanax doesnt even touch him. Im sitting here crying because Im so mentally exhausted. Hes also tripping a lot, but that could be from being so tired. 😢😢😢
