Doing Things Alone By Les D. Crause The way seems so hard when you struggle to walk it alone. And so many of my children try to go though life without relying on me to help them. They come to me when all else fails and they have reached the end of their resources. Then panic sets in and they cry out to me for deliverance. Oh my child, did you not realize that I was there all along to help you in the way? I was more than willing to carry the load for you. I was ready to take your hand and lead you in the way you should go. But you wanted to do it by yourself. You wanted to show that you could handle it alone. Oh how foolish and painful it is when you refuse my help. What a waste of valuable time and energy it is, when you could have known from the beginning my help and direction. And yet I do not condemn you. I do not reject you. I will never stand by and watch you suffer when you need me. But I will also never impose myself on you in any way. And although there is much that I can do to help you, I cannot do so until you reach out to me. So I stand patiently waiting for you. My heart yearns to give you the best I have to offer, and it breaks to see you suffer. But I cannot violate my Word. I cannot do anything for you until you invite me into your affairs. And then when you do, I stand ready to respond immediately. I am just a breath away. You can have everything I have my child, because it has already been paid for. All you need to do is ask. And when you ask in faith, it is yours.
