Don‘t get me wrong, I am very tolerant to synthetic action music. I really liked Christophe Beck‘s Edge Of Tomorrow for being just that, a really good use of synthesizers and orchestra. But Kite just crosses the line. If you can manage to listen through the first 20 minutes you have heard about everything the score has to offer. It is a purely functional score that will work for you when you are watching the movie as it will not distract you. If you are into anime scores, then maybe this is the music for you, but otherwise you will be disappointed.
