Donald Steup December 23, 1926-September 8, 2014 Donald Don Steup, 87, of Bedford, passed away at 2:10 P.M. on Monday, September 8, 2014, at IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington. Born on December 23, 1926, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was the son of Raymond R. and Ethel (Faucett) Steup. He married Sue Tow in 1996; and she survives. He was a retired Fireman and Captain in Fort Wayne, where he served for 20 years. He attended Calvary Lutheran Church. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Sue, of Bedford; one son, Ray Steup, of Fort Wayne, IN; one daughter, Dawn Steup, of Fort Wayne, IN; one step son, Mark Craft, of Fortville, IN; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home-Foster Park, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial will be in Linden Wood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Friends may call on Wednesday, 4-7 P.M. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, and 11-2 on Friday at D.O.
