Donnie Sues book reviews: the End of Your Life Book Club- true story about the author (W. Schwalbe) and his mother, who has pancreatic cancer. They spend their time in her last months reading and discussing books. I liked it, but most of the books they discussed were over my head! Beyond Belief - true story by J. M. Hill about her life as a scientologist - and later her leaving Scientology. Will confirm your beliefs that Scientologists are crazy (sorry!). It was pretty interesting. The Orchardist - fiction by A. Coplin. It was not as good as I wanted it to be - just ok. A reclusive Orchardist takes in two runaway teenage girls. One stays with him for her lifetime. The other comes and goes over the years - unable to settle down with her sister and trust the Orchardist. Some sadness, loss, tragedy. . . Not a happy story. Finally - 10 Minutes to Knowing the Men & Women of the Bible - a short, easy reference book that gives a short synopsis of 50 major people from the Bible.
