Dont Struggle With God God Morning Everyone! Why is it that we feel that we have to struggle to have a relationship with God, Jesus, or whomever you choose to call your Higher Power? We dont! God is not asking us to struggle at all. To think that we have to struggle in our relationship with God is like saying that he is a needy friend that is hard to satisfy. If we will go deep inside our hearts we will see that God is not asking us to sacrifice our true nature to have a relationship with him/her. The Divine is not interested that we follow an old and ancient set of rules or go by what others may determine is an acceptable set of standards for us to have our own relationship with him. God is not asking us to sacrifice anything other than what causes us unhappiness and discontent. He is not asking us to act like a bunch of drones that are falling at his feet to beg for a fulfilled life. Just like a good friend, our Father/Mother/God ask us to be who we were created to be and live life to our utmost highest purpose and desire. He ask us to be ourselves, our most authentic selves. There is no right way or wrong way to converse with God. Come as you are! Hang out with him as you would your best friend. Share with him your most deep and darkest secrets, and your most exciting dreams and aspirations. He will not judge you or shoot you down. Like a good friend, he will share his wisdom with you and guide you through your days. The Divine will offer you the cold hard truth when you attempt to do harm to yourself. God will allow you to fall when you make harmful choices and he will pick you up when you have learned the lessons that you need to learn that will help with the growth of your Spirit. He will not scold you or punish you, but he will embrace you and love you as often as you will allow him too. All you have to say is I am willing, God! Please take me tenderly into your arms and give me the serenity in knowing that my relationship with you is unique. Let go of all the beliefs that you have held so dearly that has gotten in the way of your relationship with God that has caused you to struggle. Re-establish your relationship with God that is true and unique. God is Love, and His Love is what you are. May You All Have A Beautiful God Realized Day!
