Dont be hatin on other Christian University: I am a product of Christian education from 7th grade thru my Masters. I love what ALL of our Christian Universities are doing these days. I just attended a great Lectureship where I felt very challenged in my spiritual walk. It had a little bit of everything at this lectureship. I hate calling it a lectureship because many have a negative history, while others it is a positive. While there, many old friends thought I was still at myold school which I have not been attending nor working since 1999. I could rant like others on the cost- it was high when I worked my way thru, and it is even higher today. I loved the education I received and I believe ALL of our Christian institutions of my tribe continue to do a great job educating students. I hate when people put down one over the other. The true competition are the public schools as our schools continue to compete with them for students. My point, If you dont like rocky road ice cream- we have many flavors. Praise God! You like Ice cream(Christian schools) Dont have to put one down to lift up another. They All have come a long way. I give back to mine because of the blessings it has been to me in my life. You can support yours, but dont have to put down any other school. This was done by individuals not any administration from any of our schools. I also had some very good discussions about school. After such discussions, I wished we ALL would sell each others shirts in our bookstores to show even more unity we have as believer. My rant of the evening, go and read something else worthwhile. Thanks for reading. I just dont know why we cant be secure in our institutions of higher learning, and rejoice when others succeed and wish the best for others. All I am saying...
