Heres the Prospectus: Arts Mon Best of 2014 PHOTOGRAPHY Show PROSPECTUS FOR PHOTO SHOW TAKE - IN Monday , December 29, 2014, at Arts Mon from 9:00 am through 4:00pm. THE Arts Mon PHOTO CONTEST IS LIMITED TO Residents of Monongalia County. PHOTOS MUST BE MATTED, FRAMED AND WIRED FOR HANGING. THE EXCEPTION WILL BE THOSE PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED ON STABLE BOARDS OR WRAPPED CANVASES. Submissions are limited to two (2) works per artists and shall represent that artist’s best work during 2014, defined as: 1.any work which was awarded a prize, place or recognition by a judging or jurying third party during 2014, or 2.any work which the Artists produced during 2014 which may or may not have been judged or juried, but that the artist believes to represent their best work of 2014. Submissions will be limited to the first 60 pieces registered. There will be a $5 dollar registration fee for each piece accepted into the show, due upon registration. Prizes will be awarded for the top three show winners as determined by a People’s Choice ballot. Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place - $125 dollars or 41% of total registration fees collected 2nd place - $75 Dollars or 25% of total registration fees collected 3rd Place - $50 Dollars or 16% of total registration fees collected The balance of registration fees, $50 dollars or 16% of total registration fees shall benefit Arts Mon to support general operating costs. Voting will begin January 5 and will continue until January 30. Winners will be announced ad prizes awarded on Monday, February 2, 2015.
