The event is being sponsored by Southern Methodist University’s Center for Presidential History in association with the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The program will play host to the directors of the Lone Star State’s three presidential libraries for part-two of the “Texas Three-Step” speakers program. Warren Finch, the director of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the campus of Texas A&M, Alan Lowe, the director of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the campus of SMU, and Mark Updegrove, the director of the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library and Museum on the campus of the University of Texas, will share their insights into record-keeping as well as the inner-workings of the presidential library system. This informational evening will begin with a light reception beginning at 5:30 pm, with the event starting at 6 pm, in SMU’s McCord Auditorium in Dallas Hall.
