Dont know if Im allowed to post this on here but Ill chance my arm. I have just had a telephone call from 01792 917870. The man on the end of the line told me I was paying too much for my water bill and he would help me claim my money back I told him my bills were fine and hung up on him. He then rang me back and said you hung up on me you cant do that. I told him in no uncertain terms to push off and leave me alone as I was fed up of companies like his cold calling me all the time He then hung up on me. (cheeky sod) I rang Welsh Water and they said it was definitely not them and they wre aware of these callers but as they were not breaking the law they couldnt do anything. It appears that the company are saying the people are being charged for rain water running back into the storm drains and can claim up to £300 back. however in my case the rainwater runs into the drains inside my property so it doesnt apply. Welsh water said that there are cases where people may be owed a refund but it probably wouldnt amount to more than about £50 and they dont charge you to investigate like this company in Swansea. Welsh water said the only thing do do is make people aware in the area that this company is ringing around and for people to make sure they dont give out personal information ( WHICH WELSH WATER WOULD NEVER ASK FOR)
