Dont you love how you can uninstall and delete all obvious references to a program and yet it persists, cancer-like, in your system. Well then you have to roll up your sleeves and dig into it. Im not real comfortable monkeying around in the Registry, but did find a plethora of junk in the Windows/Prefetch. So i gutted that too (of all the things supposedly uninstalled). So look there for troublesome zombie programs. It worked. 13th reboot and GoogleCrashHandler has not popped back up in the Task Manager window, and now i dont have to hear the HDD running crazy trying to gather up all that information that the gods of Google are trying to anonymously (my arse) collect and compile. Yes i have sensitive and accurate hearing (and the ADHDness to not be able to tune it out) I had re-installed Google Earth because i loves me some sat images and mapping and was having an overhead looksee at my coastal fishing haunts. BUT I quickly remembered that its not worth the re-invasion of my PC, and why i had deleted it before. Methinks someday Ill just have two systems, ISOLATED. One for the neato stuff you can do with those invasive pest companies, and another one for my regular interaction with the collective--which i like to think of as somewhat private and relatively secure. Until then Google can screw straight off.
