Don’t go on another fad diet, instead set out on the road to success by learning how to make healthy choices that help result in lost pounds. As a bonus you will live a happier, healthier, and longer life. Eating healthy does not necessarily mean eating less or eating “diet” foods. Eating healthy is simply changing from food that is man made to food that was created by God. God created you and He also created the food that you should be eating to maintain a health, which includes a healthy weight. Who are you going to trust with your health, God or big food companies? Here are some tips on the best and healthiest way to lose weight and keep it off: -Eliminate processed foods. Eat foods that are close to its natural source. Processed foods are full of additives, and have very little nutrition. Your body craves nutrition, so you continue to be hungry even though you already had a meal. -Eliminate all canned foods, and instead buy either fresh or frozen. Be sure to read the ingredients in the frozen foods. For example, if you are buying frozen peas, the ingredients should be peas. -Eliminate all sugar, including sugar substitutes. There are over 40 different names of sugar so please read the ingredients in everything you buy. Use a little raw honey, pure maple syrup or pure stevia for sweeteners. -Eat an organic apple with the skin every morning with your breakfast. Apples are a great way to stay regular because of the high fiber; additionally it helps stabilize blood-sugar levels, and may help lower blood cholesterol. -Walk 5-7 times a week (outdoors if weather permits). Walking will not cost you anything, and the benefits are amazing. Walking helps you lose weight and keep it off, strengthens your heart, and reduces your risk of type 2 diabetes. Walking outdoors helps prevent dementia. Walking counts as a weight-bearing exercise, so it decreases your chances of getting osteoporosis, and tones your body. Walking outside in daylight provides your vitamin D, gives you energy, and improves your mood. -Drink 8 glasses of purified water (not in plastic bottles) every day to flush out toxins, help with digestion, improve your skin, lubricate joints, and regulate body temperature.
