Dorje Initiation Ceremony Notes (for my Son!) - ✨Upon entering the sacred space I felt the power of the moment rush over me. It was beyond what I had imagined, It was more beautiful, more powerful, more special. There were so many beautiful surprises in store for Zaiden as well as myself. It was the first formal Dorje initiation ceremony I have witnessed and once I arrived I realized that what I had been feeling all day was the energy building up to this. A dorje is a very special ‘tool’ for awakening consciousness and enlightenment. It can be seen documented in Tibetan Buddhism but far predates it. I am amazed by th have personally witnessed Kai Karrel powerfully reconnect to the path of Dorjen and his role as a Dorje Master. Kai united me with my dorje last year. Ever since then my children have been so intrigued by it, how I relate to her, how I include her and how I have a deepening relationship with her. My oldest son, Zaiden started asking for his very own around 8 months ago or more. The large dorjes - 6 inch - are the Dragon Dorjes and once united with the one that is tied with your soul, it is a life long commitment or shall we say benefit to have it. Thus, it seemed best for Zaiden to be of an age that it would be possible for him to understand the depth of awareness and care required when accepting the path of the Dorje. As his mother I sensed that his 8th birthday or later would feel possible and while Kai was in meditation one day he sensed for Zaiden to receive his dorje in 3 months, 3 days, 3 hours which happened to land 3 days after Zaiden’s 8th birthday. I feel it is important to note that a Dorje Master helps unite or reunite people with their unique dorje and this is a very specific and rare opportunity. For the exact pieces to fall in place for the appropriate dorje to unite with it’s person is a phenomenal feat. Then to receive an initiation into the Dorjen Path from a Dorje Master is beyond spectacular, extremely special and very rare. The day had come. We prepared. Kai set the ‘sacred space’ for the initiation, Zaiden did his preparatory work with my help. We showered and dressed for the occasion, bearing flowers and coconut bliss ice cream ;-). Upon entering the sacred space I was in awe. I entered before Zaiden to connect with Kai and do the final touches with him. My heart swelled with pride as I witnessed the masterpiece of an alter and set that Kai had prepared. I was so proud that my son had innately felt the excitement and the yes to ask for this. I felt so proud that this man who loves me so much was such a huge yes to offering this to my son. So proud of all the guidance and support Kai has given us around dorjes and the powerful impact they can have on our lives. So proud of my intimate relationship that I have with ‘mine’, Nele. So proud that I got to witness this ritual as Kai is offering/reviving it. So proud to be a dorje holder in the House of eMM. I sat for a moment across the altar from Kai and my heart poured out tear of gratitude and love. ❤️ I brought Zaiden into the room, cleared him with sage and sound - Om Wand - and guided him to his seat across from Kai who was sitting meditating closed eyed creating a powerful energy field and an air of intrigue and mystery for anyone, especially an 8 year old boy. Zaiden had quietly asked me “Mommy why tears?” and I replied, “Happy Tears.” The ceremony began and more tears poured forth as my heart expanded in new incredible ways. ❤️There were so many beautiful moments throughout. The gift of a Master, from his heart, is extraordinary to behold. Kai held a white scarf to his forehead and heart with great focus. I could feel the love oozing out of him and into the threads of the fabric. He placed it over his head and to his heart several times and then had me do the same as I, too, am a guardian for this dorje until Zaiden comes of age. I then had the great honor of placing this over Zaiden’s head and extending this gift - this reminder - this symbol - of love, safety, guidance and support to him. (Photo below) Another incredible moment was when the Kai held our dorjes together in a cosmic dorje activation snuggle with Zaiden’s. This felt so connective and honoring. (photo below) On this day, I graduated into a new level of anchoring spirituality and mysticism into my life and into my son’s life. Kai, we are living proof that you are redefining spirituality and being a powerful proactive force for the liberation of hearts and souls. ✨❤️✨ Thank you with all I am. Thank you. I love you.
