This company mustered at San Antonio, TX. on Aug. 31, 1846; Patos, Mexico on Dec. 31, 1846; at Aqua Nueva, Mexico on Feb. 28, 1847; at Camargo, Mexico on June 20, 1847. The Sergeant was John D. Paid with 160 acres land grant in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was 58 tall, fair complexion, dark hair, blue eyes and occasional farmer. Sarah Jane Morris was a full blood Chickamauga Cherokee Indian.
