Dortmund II - Hansa Rostock Hansa Rostock (+0) Odds: 2.11 (Asia) Stake: 5/10 I definitely see Borussia Dortmund as the slight underdog in this game because they are really struggling at the moment. Dortmunds U23 has very big injury problems at the moment and especially injured Marvin Duksch is irreplaceable. Duksch is actually a part of the Bundesliga team and his qualities are outstanding for 3rd divison and he is by far the best player in the league. He is absolutely vital for Dortmund and without Duksch they are a different team. When Dortmund was without Duksch, they usually looked really bad. They could beat Duisburg without Duksch (2:0) but this was rather because of Duisburgs poor conversion of chances. Against Erfurt (0:3) and in Regensburg (1:2) they were without superstar Duksch and Dortmund showed very weak performances. They were clearly inferior and their only goal was through a corner. Moreover Dortmund have to deal with the injury of their second best offensive player, Balint Bajner as well as the one of regular central back Thomas Meißner (suspended). Last week, Dortmund had a very poor performance in Darmstadt. Of course away from home against such a strong home side is something completely different but they made an awful impression and it was one of their worst season games. We can sum up, Dortmund have a weak form and they are clearly weaker without their superstar Marvin Duksch. Hansa is a typical away side because their strength is defending well and counter attacking. They have a lot of extremely fast players in the offensive such as David Blacha or Julian Jakobs. Hansas offensive needs space for attacking and they should get much more space than in their recent home games because I expect an open clash with hosts from Dortmund who have an offensive attitude. Hansa got bad results lately, basically because of their disability of making the running at home. They conceded an early goal against Heidenheim (0:1) and they were unable to create chance against the best defense of the league. They also lost their last home game against Chemnitz (1:2) and they showed that they are just not really good at home because they usually do not get the space which they need to be succesful. This should however be different in Dortmund. Hansa Rostock were better away than at home in 2014, especially their defense made a very good impression at their away victory in Unterhaching (3:1) as well as at the draw in Regensburg (1:1). They only conceded two goals through penalties but their defense did basically not allow many dangerous situations. Hansa will also have great support with 2000 fans from Rostock. This will be some kind of home game atmosphere in an away match and this should be another advantage although I do not overestimate this. Hansas defense has recently been rock-solid in away games and I do not think that Dortmunds offensive (without Duksch and Bajner) will be strong enough to seriously endanger Hansa. All in all Hansa Rostock is the slight favorite in my book, therefore taking a value bet on the travellers. (samiallagui.blogabet/)
