Take permission from Election Commission regarding the same Can do door to door campaigning (with not more than 5 persons) without permission DON’Ts: Don’t distribute Aam Aadmi T-shirts, calendar, diary, key rings, saree, liquor, money, jhadu (broom) Don’t use religious places & educational institutions for campaigning There should be no appeal to caste or communal feelings and no speech should hurt religious sentiments: TAKE PERMISSION FROM ELECTION COMMISSION For holding Rallies/Jansabhas/Padyatras/Public gatherings/Public meetings For use of loudspeakers/amplifiers/bhopu For use of car/bike/jeep/truck by the candidate and others. A maximum of 10 vehicles can be used in a car/bike rally Take permission for making announcements on autos/rickshaws Content for any TV ad, radio jingle or video shown on projector should be approved by the Election Commission MISCELLANEOUS A candidate can spend Rs.70 lakhs in the campaigning (except Rs.54 lakhs in all Union Territories, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa and Sikkim) There should be no religious place, educational institution, hospital or polling station in 200 meters radius of the party office A banner can be put at the party office of not more than 4*8 feet size Booth Prabhari should be a resident and must have the voter id card of the same polling booth No campaigning is allowed 48 hours (2 days) before the polling day आचार सहिंता के दौरान क्या करें और क्या ना करें? क्या करें: आम आदमी की टोपी, बिल्ले, हैण्ड बैंड्स, स्कार्फ्स पहन सकते हैं केवल वही पर्चियां, पोस्टर, स्टीकर बांटी जा सकती हैं जिसमे प्रिंटर का नाम, पता और कुल प्रतियों का व्याख्यान हो. इसकी अनुमति चुनाव आयोग से लेनी होगी घर घर जाकर प्रचार (केवल 5 लोगों तक के साथ) बिना अनुमति के किया जा सकता है क्या ना करें: आम आदमी टी-शर्ट्स, साड़ी, डायरी, कैलेंडर, दारु, पैसा, झाड़ू इत्यादि नहीं बाँट सकते धार्मिक और शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं में प्रचार की अनुमति नहीं है कोई भी ऐसी भाषा का प्रयोग ना करें जिससे धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचे निम्न कार्यों के लिए चुनाव आयोग से अनुमति लेना अनिवार्य है: रैली, जनसभा, पदयात्रा का आयोजन चुनाव आयोग से अनुमति लेकर करें हैंडमाइक/लाउडस्पीकर्स और भोपू का प्रयोग चुनाव आयोग से अनुमति लेकर करें प्रचार के दौरान प्रयोग किये जाने वाले कार/बाइक/जीप/ट्रक की अनुमति चुनाव आयोग से लेना अनिवार्य है. कार/बाइक रैली में 10 से ज्यादा वाहन प्रयोग नहीं किये जा सकते ऑटो/रिक्शा पर लाउडस्पीकर द्वारा प्रचार करने हेतु भी अनुमति लेनी होगी टीवी, रेडियो और प्रोजेक्टर में दिखाए जाने वाले ऑडियो/विडियो सामग्री की भी अनुमति लेनी होगी अन्य : प्रत्याशी 70 लाख रुपये चुनाव प्रचार में खर्च कर सकता है (केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों, गोवा, अरुणाचल प्रदेश और सिक्किम में 54 लाख रुपये खर्च कर सकते हैं) पार्टी कार्यालय के 200 मी परिधि में कोई भी अस्पताल, धार्मिक स्थल, शैक्षणिक संस्थान और पोलिंग स्टेशन नहीं होना चाहिए पार्टी कार्यालय के बाहर 4*8 फीट तक का बोर्ड लगाया जा सकता है बूथ प्रभारी अपने बूथ का वोटर होना चाहिए। उसके पास उसी पोलिंग बूथ का वोटर आईडी कार्ड होना अनिवार्य है. चुनाव के 48 घंटे पूर्व प्रचार बंद हो जाना चाहिए AAP website link: aamaadmiparty.org/model-code-of-conduct-guidelines NOTE: For details visit eci.nic.in/eci_main/Model_Code_Conduct_Eng.pdf To get formats of permission letters visit aamaadmiparty.org/MCC
