Dr. Abdullah Abdullah is a fine and well spoken man. He is s natty dresser with Bollywood or Hollywood good looks. He is a great friend and admirer of India, and we will do well to stand by him. His opponent Ashraf Ghani too is well educated and enjoys a fine reputation for probity during his tenure as Finance Minister, but is seen as a tad too close to the USA. During my last visit to Kabul I was treated to a fabulous breakfast by Dr. Abdullah at his heavily fortified home. Enough reason for me to root for him.
