Dr. Jacob Bronowski, a British scientist and writer, explains his view that scientific endeavors should be relevant to the needs of society, and his ideas on poetry. The series on the ascent of man was made from his book of the same name that I went directly to the book store and bought after watching the introduction and fist episode. He died before it ever aired.on PBS in the United States. Jacob Bernowski is one of my favorite thinkers and a man with very great incite.
