Dramatic changes to Australia’s foreign aid policy will be announced this afternoon with foreign governments set to sign up to performance benchmarks. 90% of Australia’s aid program will be diverted to the immediate Indo-Pacific region and delivered in partnership with the private sector in what Foreign Minister Julie Bishop refers to as “radical” changes.
