Drawers I saw a very large chest of drawers; some of the drawers were small, while others took up the length of the unit. I found myself beginning to open the drawers fully expecting to find underwear and clothes however, what I saw took me aback. In the small drawers, were rows upon rows of diamonds and various precious jewels. The sunlight from the window caught them and a myriad of colours filled the room and bounced off the walls. Now I was intrigued as I began to open the larger drawers. What they contained were stones in various stages of preparation. I opened the drawers one after another and the further down I went the stones were less well prepared, until at the bottom were what simply looked like ordinary rocks to me. As I pondered on the meaning of all this, I heard the Lord begin to ask me about the bottom drawers first. What did you see? I see only rough rocks; they don’t seem valuable at all. Then He said to me, “I see the end from the beginning, I know how I am going to fashion each one to bring the beauty of what is inside that lump of rock to fullness.” I began to ask about the others, wondering why He didn’t finish one before moving on to another. Again He spoke to me saying that some needed to rest a little while to recover from the fashioning that had already happened, if He kept going with the cuts that were needed, they would crack and be useless. And so I asked about the top drawers, the ones that were polished and ready. I simply heard Him saying that He is fitting them together, to be living stones in His Kingdom without spot or blemish.
