Drop In Classes taking place this week are as follows! We have some amazing teachers for you to learn from, and we are so excited to have their talent at Soul Studios! Tuesday August 5th 6pm-8pm Advanced Class with International dance artist, LaMichael Leonard, currently with the legendary, Tony Award, Kennedy Center Honors and McArthur Genius award recipient, Bill T Jones- teaches a contemporary dance class rooted in technique and phrasing with an emphasis on artistic, physical, and dynamic risks. Be ready to move from your heart and intellect! Cost is $15 per dancer and are for ages 12 & up! Thursday August 7th 5pm-8pm Intermediate/Advanced Jazz Contemporary with Caitlin Christine Curran is a professional contemporary dancer from Sarasota, FL currently living in New York City. She has her BFA in Jazz Dance Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Since graduation, Caitlin has performed in New York City as a member of Arch Contemporary Ballet and Michael Susten and Company. She has also performed choreography by Derek Mitchell in Times Square for Latin Grammy winner Fonseca, and at World of Dance in collaboration with Kelly Peters. Caitlin travels around the tri-state area to teach and choreograph and is so excited to share her growing knowledge of the dance industry in the big apple with Soul Studios! ****this class will also be partially an audition for a piece she will be setting on Company Members. Class is not limited to Company Members it IS an open class**** Cost is $15 per dancer and are for ages 12 & up!
