Dru ..... Ive been trying since before your graduation to gather and collect my thoughts on this past season of your life that culminated on Sunday! If I could find the perfect words to express this feeling deep inside my soul it would sound similar to speaking in tongues, heavenly tones of heavens wondrous works! But since that would make no sense to you Ill try with the English language to say how very very very very very very very very very proud I am of the great accomplishment of graduation. Now with that part out the way, I would feel NO DIFFERENT about you if you never walked a line and cut up like you did! Literally I would feel exactly the same because Ive witnessed with my own eyes and soul the magnitude of WHO YOU ARE. MY eldest grandson who loves me more than he loves himself, for no extra reasons ie money, cooking specially, ummm...... whether Im jovial or sad, whether Im gussied up or in my granny chair looking like ahhhhhhhh! You Grace me with honor, respect, love, kind words, long conversations thats worth more than a milli.... thats real talk. Weve had some real moments grandson that goes down in the archives of real family love. Youre cut from a different cloth .... its cool, its fresh ..... its deep! I like you! And then. ...I love you! I adore you. You make my heart smile, you make my face smile. Youre intriguing, smart, youre beyond your years in regular stuff mainly your mindset. Im sure you still have things to learn cos By GOD Im still doing it..... but you have all you need to set out on this journey called life! Youll adjust and augment as you travel, Youll rearrange and compensate as you travel, Youll dream and fulfill them as you travel, Youll expeRience victories and defeats. Youll see the rain come and go, and the sun will come back out tomorrow. Youll have some regrets and grow from them. Thats maturity. .... Im still doing it. But packed deep deep deep inside you .... youve invited this Calvary expeRience to be a part of your growth daily and thats really your survival kit Dru ..... cos this world is in great turmoil and messy. It has no love for you, but I do and grannys love is next to parents and GODs love! Dont go TOO far away from me ..... Ive gotten used to our coffee together, our marathon chats that keeps me on the edge of my seat in awe of what GOD has placed in my life.... you are my favorite oldest grandchild. My starter kit @ grandparenting! I imagined Gma Ella on Sunday and how I could never compete with her in the kitchen. .... she would have rocked out with that graduation dinner. Your tummy would still be smiling and youd still be dumping!!!! Im going to give it a GO tho before I leave soon. Exclusively honoring my graduate of 2014!!!!! I love you Andrew Williamson, from top to bottom and since that aint much (lol) I love you to the moon and back! May your path always be illuminated right on up to higher plains always!
