Due to storms Thurs our community had Trick-or-treating last night. Wed been across town and then to Kroger so pulled in our drive ten minutes after it started. As I opened the trunk some kids began walking up. I grabbed a bowl, opened a bag each of raisins and peppermint patties, and dumped. Then on the porch Theo sat handing out candy in his tiger costume while eating a vegetarian stir fry. After he was ready I took him around the subdivision while Felicity dressed as a UPS driver helped Sean distribute candy for a while. Last night was the first time Ive been door to door trick-or-treating since 1991, my last October in California (sidewalks galore). Yes, its much more fun than the mall events or parties. Yes, Im still sad there are no dress in Renaissance clothes eat medieval food Reformation parties around here because those are the best ever.
