Due to weather conditions there are some closings in the area: All Charlevoix Public Schools will close, as well as Northwest Academy by 12:45 p.m. According to the Mackinac Bridge Authority website the Mackinac Bridge is closed to all traffic. Motorists are instructed to reduce their speed to 20 miles per hour as they approach the bridge and be prepared to stop. Bridge personnel are stationed at both ends of the structure to provide instructions.
