During, The Experience, Central Assembly of God used plastic milk jugs, with sand in the bottom & tea lights to illuminate the path during the auto tour. Recycling volunteers from Central helped shake out and separate the sand & tea lights from the milk jugs. Fifteen construction sized hefty bags filled the back of Centrals dump truck! Thank you Kevin Smith for driving all of these milk jugs to the recycling center! The sand will be re-used for other Central projects. The aluminum tea lights weighed in at 26 lbs. for which the recycling center gave $12.00! :) Plastic Milk jugs take 500 years to decompose. Aluminum such as a soda can takes 80-200 years to decompose. Thank you Central recycling volunteers for helping to do our part to keep Gods earth green!
