During the shooting of Singam 2′s fight sequence a stunt artist named Ranjan fell into the see and broke his leg by hitting on a rock inside the sea! Ranjan, who has worked for almost all the 12 movies directed by Hari and has also acted in Singam 2. According to a scene, Suriya will hit Ranjan and Ranjan should jump into the sea from the boat in which he was fighting with Suriya. While jumping out, Ranjan has fallen straight on a sea rock and has broken his legs. Doctors who attended him has made it that Ranjan can live but never can walk. Though the accident occurred in the shooting spot, it was not the crew that took Ranjan to the hospital, but a police inspector who was providing protection has taken Ranjan to the hospital and given medical care. After a day, Suriya and Hari have visited Ranjan in the hospital and never turned back. The inspector who was caring Ranjan has recently met Suriya and detailed the status of Ranjan and was told by Suriya that, what can he do for the same… while Hari went one step further advising, “In the shooting spot, one should be careful” and both refused any financial help for Ranjan. The matter was taken to Vijay, who immediately gave Rs 40,000 from his pocket and also arranged for provision for next two months for Ranjan’s family. Vijay is Thalaivan… is that not?........Thalapathy........
