During these difficult days, my girls have been a comfort to me… Bella, the yodelling clown and Blessing, the playful hunter - both loving sisters and competitors. They run after each other, groom each others face and snuggle together. When I am sitting on the bed or floor, Blessing will just curl and snuggle next to me. Bella, who is more assertive, will lift my arm with her face and park herself under my armpit, resting her chin on my chest and stare lovingly at me. If I dont acknowledge her, she will just keep lifting my arm till I acknowledge her with an ear massage. The next thing I know, Blessing will roll over and demand a belly rub. They are heartfelt distractions and bring me great joy. Blessing loves her dog and so do I.
