Dust Buster & Fuel Burners Meeting 10th September 2013 at Great Western Garden Bar meeting commenced at 8.10pm Present: Michael Haines, Heather Christie, John Foster, Stuart Gudgeon, Colin Robottom, Michael Lehman Barbara Plant. Apologises: Pat McLeavy, Sam Andrews Business from last meeting: Griffith’s longest lap over Labour weekend – Only Mick Haines going due to commitments - next year as a club. raffle – 1700 loader model $40 worth of tickets sold at market day. Still waiting to sell more tickets. Will take it to the Rodeo to sell more tickets. Show Committee: Heather attended and asked if we could set a display - show and shine and also have a car set up on safety stands and have teams and/or individuals to do time trial tyre changing. President of show committee very keen and looks like it will go a head. Also, suggested that after the horses finish the barrel racing on the Friday that we might be able to do wheel barrel races where you roll a tyre around the barrels and have time trials. Rodeo: Show and shine at the Rodeo and Mick Saturday 14th September 2013 start setting after 9am near the bar. John spoke to Alistair Ewan from Cobar cranes to bring his 350 chev motor on the stand down and he just has to confirm and give times and location. Heather hasn’t seen Daniel Howard to bring his Landcruiser FJ down. Mick still to ask the Ulysses club if they would like to contribute at the Rodeo. Treasurer & bank account – Sam Andrews setting up bank account. Need a letter with letter head to say that we are opening an account – Heather to do letter and email to Mick. Mick and David Tomek need to go to the bank with 100points of identity as they are not members of the credit union. THEN the bank account can be opened and then Sam can deposit the money. Still working towards getting this set up. Fun Run: We need to organise a run Mick suggested Sunday 29th September 2013. Mick to organise the run. Heather supply camera’s. Suggested a list of items that they have to photo. New business: Michael Lehman asked that we set up emails to let people know what is going on. Sam to set it up from all the emails on the membership. No further new business meeting set for next month 8th October 2013. Great Western Garden Bar 8pm. Meeting closed at 8.50pm.
