E TV : Programme Schedulers x2 - (1 Year Contract) Reporting to the Manager: Programme Scheduling, your key performance areas will include: • Load contracts, liaise with Distributors and Producers for any programme/contract discrepancies • Obtain all the required information for Publicity and Library, such as synopses, year of production, cast, running order, publicity kits, etc. Implement the schedule as per directive from International Acquisitions Department • Have the ability to work across all channels • Check contracts for license periods, number of runs and duration • Create programme versions, short titles and formats • Create plans and schedule titles in accordance with the channels requirements • Submit excel schedule for rate cards and liaise with the Commercial Time Sales Department regarding break formats and final rate card • Submit final programme schedule in public folders and ensure they are constantly up to date across all months • Compile reports to be distributed to the manager and relevant departments • Present to the Commercial Time Sales Department and relevant departments for final schedule; highlighting new series and programmes • Apply programme changes to the schedule and advise relevant departments, external producers and necessary companies of changes • Liaise with the Presentation, Media Library and Transfers departments on any weekly and daily discrepancies to the schedule Create and communicate changes in running order of programmes to Publicity and Creative Services • Respond to ad-hoc enquiries • Inventory exercises; monitor series start and end dates, checking outstanding licensing issues and untransferred material • Compile monthly EPG, adhere to all requirements, to be submitted to Multichoice and other affiliates when necessary • Communicate all programme changes to Multichoice for the EPG when required Requirements: • Matric or tertiary qualification • Experience in scheduling an advantage. Basic understanding of broadcasting • Computer literacy (MS-environment) • High level of accuracy • Meticulous attention to detail • Ability to work with figures and calculations • Ability to manage time and meet crucial deadlines • Ability to interpret contractual agreements • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment • Must be organized • Ability to work for long periods under intense concentration • Analytical/quick thinker • Stable track record required To apply please visit housetostay.co.za
