EBOLA, A DREADFUL VIRUS WITH NO CURE AND THE U-20 MATCH BETWEEN - TopicsExpress

EBOLA, A DREADFUL VIRUS WITH NO CURE AND THE U-20 MATCH BETWEEN SIERRA LEONE AND GUINEA ON APRIL 5, 2014 I stand to be corrected, but considering the present state of fear flying across the Mano River Union countries (Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone) on the outbreak of the Ebola Virus that is incurable, with cases reported in Guinea involving death of 60 people. Also, it is confirmed news that a 14 year old boy died of the disease by attending a funeral of his relative in Nongoa, Guinea and was buried in Beudu, Kailahun District. It is but prudent that the authorities at the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) with immediate effect write to the world governing body FIFA and CAF informing them, of the impending dangers of this dreadful disease and seek clarification and guarantee on the health and safety of both teams and officials including referees that are to take part in the U-20 Youth tournament qualifier on April 5, 2014. We should be able to ask them for solutions or alternative such as change of venue or medical examination of everybody coming down to watch the match in Makeni especially from Guinea. I suppose this might draw some diplomatic problems between Guinea and Sierra Leone, but I think it is more of a preventive measure than a corrective one. Copies of such letter should be sent to both embassies in Guinea and Sierra Leone and ask for their involvement in the whole process, for prevention is better than cure. Please share your thoughts with me. Standing by!!!!
