EBOLA, PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND HEALTH AUTHORITIES The health - TopicsExpress

EBOLA, PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND HEALTH AUTHORITIES The health authorities moved schools resumption date to October to be on the safe side but private schools owners went to lobby that schools should resume earlier and the authorities succumbed. I bet that most of these private schools are more concerned with their bank accounts rather than than safety of students. Go to the toilets of these schools, they are an eyesore. How can they safeguard their students? They argued that Churches and Markets and night Clubs were not closed - SILLY. Though I can vouch for the restrooms of my Church, I still take my children to the rest rooms should the need arise, so I could make sure its in good condition for them. My children and most children I know dont go to markets and night clubs. Now there is a breaking news that an AOU student, suspected to must have had contact with a secondary case in PH has shown symptoms and evacuated to Lagos. My questions: 1. WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR SYSTEM? 2. DO YOU KNOW THAT IF WE HAVE EBOLA OUTBREAK IN SCHOOLS WELL NOT BE TALKING OF QUARANTINING 100 OR 200 BUT THOUSANDS? 3. WHY MUST WE START ON THE RIGHT PART AND END ON THE WRONG SIDE? 4. WHY MUST THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES SUCCUMB TO THEM? 5. IS IT NOT SAFE THAT WE CLOSE SCHOOLS UNTIL WEVE REASONABLY DEALT WITH THIS SCOURGE? Parents should also rise up against these insensitive private school owners Personally, I believe we should forget about schools resumption this year until we are sure that the disease poses no more threat. I NEED YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE
