EGO THE ESCAPE FROM SPIRITUALITY! How many people you know that are imprisoned by their own ego? Being trapped in the ego is the worst prison of them all. There is no ego apart from your thoughts , because identification of the thoughts is ego. The thoughts that go through your mind are linked to the collective mind of the couch you live in called humanity. In other words ,most of the thoughts you think you think are not yours. You pick them up from your collective mind. Most teachers philosophers and sages teach, including psychology teach that you are the sum total of all the people thoughts that have spoken into your life; but I beg to differ. You are not the thoughts you have picked up!!! True thought is original! You identify with your thinking, and your thinking becomes ego., which means you believe every thought your mind tells you. Did you know it is your mind that tells you who you are therefore causing you to derive a high or low self esteem. Many people are stuck in a low esteem or ego which probably was a thought planted somewhere in childhood or earlier in life. But thanks be to God the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Beloved, YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE!!!!!
