EK KICK CHAI was awesome today... and the best thing happened on the way back home. Just near my house, I stopped for a glass of milkshake at a local Juice Waala.. I was standing there sipping my glassful of milk when a little kid came up to the shop. Judging from his clothes I could figure that his family was not very well off.. He held out a 10 rupee note and asked the Juice Waala, Uncle, ek bada waala aam ka juice bana do (implying Mango Shake)... The shopkeeper politely accepted and within minutes gave him a glass of Mango shake.. The prices for Mango Shake were 30,40 and 50 and I could figure that the glass the kid was holding was in the 30 buck category. The kid had his glassful and happily ran off, and the Juice Waala got back to his normal routine. I asked the juice guy if I could pay the balance for the kid, and this was his reply that left me speechless, Jaano do bhaiya. Bachha hai, kabhi-kabhi paise bachakar juice peene aa jaata hai. Abhi kuch bada karne ki khushi dekhega toh bada hokar shayad khud hi kuch bada karle! (Let it be brother.. Hes a kid. Sometime he saves money and comes here to have juice. Let him have the happiness of doing something big.. Maybe he really does something big when he grows up). Someones truly said it.. The people who have the least, care to give the most! #FeelingOverwhelmed
