EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, Consulate Health Care, MI - Fenton Description: At Consulate Health Care, we are searching for an RN who is a well motivated self starter and has a passion for educating and guiding employees to flourish and grow. This newly created position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services and is responsible for assisting with the interview process coordinating employee orientation, ongoing required staff education and related record keeping. The successful candidate must be a well organized planner, capable of motivating employees and be able to to think out of the box in creating of innovative ways to attract, retain and develop focused, caring, resident oriented employees. Staff Developer Duties and Responsibilities include: Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs. Develop, evaluate and control the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Develop and implement a quality assurance program for in-service training. Develop and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of orientation programs that orient newly hired personnel to their position, the facilitys policies and procedure, resident rights and responsibilities, etc. May be trained and assigned to perform the Customer Care Liaison duties as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Must possess a Registered Nurse Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a nurse Must have as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a nursing care facility. Must possess skills in leadership and communication. Must possess creativity, integrity and initiative.
