#EPRDF and #EPRDFites repeatedly told us that respecting human rights and democratic rights are not essential at this time in Ethiopia. And remind us to forget about these rights many times. But, what is important currently, according to them, is ‘building economic development’ and ‘reducing poverty’. The irony is they are not even successful in this target of minimizing the poverty level so that the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Arab world could be halted. Nevertheless, the contribution of these brothers and sisters in Arab world to the livelihood of the people back home is enormous (I have observed firsthand the economic change of people in my area due to their sons and daughters in Arab world). In fact, EPRDF wants to take the credit of this change in economic condition as if they have done it!!!
