EUROPEAN UNION PHOTO CONTEST AND EXHIBITION The EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic invites you to take part in a photo contest on the theme Two decades of EU – KR partnership and cooperation. The contest conditions Any person above 18 years can participate by sending one to three photos illustrating his or her perception of the achievements of Two decades of partnership and cooperation between the EU and Kyrgyzstan. By submitting a photo to the contest, each participant (i) warrants that it is an original submission owned by the participant; and (ii) grants the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic and its designees all rights of the photo(s), including, but not limited to the perpetual, unlimited, non-exclusive, worldwide and irrevocable right to modify, create derivative works of, edit, post, publish and/or otherwise use the submission in any manner and in any media without compensation, notification or permission, without limitation as to manner, frequency or duration of use. The deadline for submission of photos is established at 12.00 (Bishkek time) on 30 January 2015. The photos with high resolution (minimum 300 dpi or 1Mo) have to be submitted to twodecades.photocontest@gmail and be accompanied with a brief description of max 100 characters, your name, phone number and other contact details, the date and location of the photo. Selection of photos The EU Delegation will appoint an international jury to select the 50 best photos, determining the three best ones among them (which must have been realised by different authors). The jury will be consisting of academics, journalists, representatives of EU MSs and EU DEL. The jury is to announce the 50 selected photos by 20 February 2015. Photo exhibition and prizes for the winners Following the announcement of the results, the EU Delegation will organise a public photo exhibition of the selected 50 best photos. At the exhibition, the three best authors will be rewarded with 1) a SLR digital camera 2) a tablet computer and 3) an external drive and camera bag.
