EVERY NIGERIAN DO SOMETHING ««Episode021»» WE are highly optimist while putting our complete and total trust in u ( Nigerian militery) we expect u 2come out with a positive explanation this time: On Saturday 06/12/2014 at 2.00 AM, a Russian military cargo plane with registration number RA-82038 landed at Mallam Aninu Kano International Airport laden with arms, ammunitions, two tinted jeep vehicles, and a two helicopters painted in Nigerian flag. The aircraft was supposedly heading to Ndjamena, the capital of Chad. Initial report as reported by Premuim Times and Sahara Reporters suggested that the captain and crew were detained for interrogation by the Nigerian security operatives at the airport. Meanwhile on Saturday (06/12/2014) afternoon, the Russian embassy in Abuja went on Twitter and denied ownership of the aircraft. Fortunately, some savvy activists went online at (airframe.org) and traced the history of the aircraft using its registration number (RA-82038). It was established beyond any doubt that Russian military owns the cargo aircraft. By Sunday afternoon (07/12/2014), having realised that they cannot possibly deny the ownership of this military aircraft, the Russians then changed their narrative. They confessed that the aircraft belongs to them but the cargo inside belongs to France. They also pointed out that it only came to Kano because it developed technical problems! Great! We went to a website called (distancesfrom) and calculated the flight distances from Bangui to Ndjamena, and from Bangui to Kano. Bangui to Ndjamena is 944 kilometres, while Bangui to Kano is 1,394 kilometres. This means Kano is further away by a whopping 450 kilometres. Now, everybody knows that in the event of an aircraft developing technical problems, it tries to land at the nearest available airport, and not the furthest. Nigerians and the rest of the world need better explanation for the Nigerian government, Russia, France and Chad. May God save Nigeria! Engr Ramat #EveryNigerianDoSomething.
