EXTRA BAGGAGE ON HOME TRIP IMPORTANT INFORMATION Hi all, I had a parent call Air New Zealand and find out that the students can take an extra bag up to 23kg for $90. It sounds like it has to be pre ordered over the phone (maybe could do on the internet?). But thats an amazing deal! If I had have know that I would have done that - the only issue is the space on the bus, theres not much room under the bus for all of the current expanded luggage, so an extra bag per student isnt really feasible, but if there were 3 or 4 kids willing to share the extra bag it would work fine. If you call Air New Zealand and organise that for your child you will need to quote the group ticket reference number RSXVZH. If you are going to do this can YOU please do it prior to departure day and then let me (and ur child) know? That way we wont be stopped at the gate waiting for each child (and we are not sure if we can do it on the day). But remember joining 2/3/4 kids in one bag is better for traveling in the bus!
