Petunia is a big girl, Rubenesque, pleasantly plump, zaftig, hefty, no matter how you say it, shes been overfed with love and could stand to lose some weight. Shes an awesome dog and it took me about 10 seconds to fall in love with her. Likely housetrained she pottied as soon as we were out the door, and then showed off good leash manners as we meandered to the park. She actually has a spry step for an older, overweight gal, and goes up and down steps without issue. Ignoring other dogs we pass in the park, she didnt mind being tethered for pictures, makes soft eye contact, and is simply happy to be out on a nice day. In the yard off leash she follows me around the pen, lays her head in my lap, and nuzzles my hand if I stop petting her. Sweet and gentle, shes simply looking for a home in which easy walks, a soft bed and some together time with her people are the standard. Shes ready to snuggle by your side to help you watch your favorite TV show or read a book and listen to your commentary without argument. Shes clearly known a loving home and is ready to spend the best and rest of her life loving you. How big is your heart?
