Each summer, Mass General hosts the YMCA Achievers of Greater Boston week, in which teenagers from the program visit various health care institutions to gain hands-on experiences and explore potential careers. This year, participants visited Radiology Oncology and participated in a CT scanner simulator demonstration (pictured here). “There is so much value in these kids being able to see firsthand what it is like not only to be a patient, but also to work in health care,” says Dianne Austin, workforce diversity program manager at Mass General.
