Earlier, I had to sit back for a second and thank The Lord for blessing me with the talents and strength I have.. For putting me in the situations Ive been in so I can really appreciate what I have.. And most important, my family and friends.. Life can always get better but Im with letting tomorrow take care of itself for now.. Its only been a month but 28 has been good to me so far.. I have my health and an awesome job that allows me to do something else I love, cook.. Being your own boss at the age of 23 can be tough but through food, I was able accomplish things far past my imagination.. 5 STAR ratings, catering events in Greenwich with a Chopped All-Star, front page of the newspaper 3 times, interviews with the press + food bloggers, TV appearances, and more.. Yesterday, I got a message that brought an instant smile to my face and adds to the list of awesomeness.. Ive been asked to showcase my talents on the big stage before but nothing is better than doing it for a great cause and amazing people.. The award winning writers from OmNomCT invited me to participate at the Pork In The Park BBQ Festival.. Ill be doing a food demo and trust me, its GOING DOWN..
