Earlier I sent notes to the Republican Party, Democratic Party and a few representatives a note to tell them to negotiate and compromise. While doing that I ran across some interesting recent poll results: Only 1 in 4 people in the US trust the government. 88% of Americans believe that the government is in charge of the people. 8% believe that the people are in charge of the government. Over 3/4 of the American people want BOTH the President and the Democrats in Congress AND the Republicans in Congress to compromise in order to come to an agreement on the budget. 54% of the American people want to see all or part of Obamacare repealed. 57% believe that the law should be delayed for a year until more details are ironed out. 51% think the law will make the health care system worse. 62% want to repeal, delay, defund Obamacare or make changes to improve it. Only 38% think the law should be expanded or implemented unchanged.
