Earlier Update: MRI results show no sign of a stroke. Yay! Sodium is up to 126. She does have SAIDH which results in low sodium. They treat that with salt replacement through a special sodium IV intake. Sodium level should be back to normal byWednesday. They are continuing to work on her vision issues but her eyes had a lot of trauma and fractures bones on both sides of her eyes and sinus area. She also has a 6th cranial nerve issue that may be causing part of her eye/vision issues. We have met with Shepherd Spinal Center and hope to hear today if she will be accepted there and when. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Later: After meeting with Shepherd Spinal Center representative and him reviewing Lindseys case and interviewing her, they have accepted her as a patient. She should be leaving Northeast Georgia Medical Center tomorrow and be admitted to Shepherd Center. She will have a medical team assigned to her for the duration (4 to 6 weeks) of her stay. She will have many types of therapy available to her daily. Lindsey and all her family want to say thank you for everything each of you have done. All the love and prayers have pulled us through this far and we are asking for continued prayers as we begin this next step in this journey of Lindseys Love Story.
