Earlier this afternoon while putting one of the dogs outside through the basement door, I noticed a young black widow had decided the top corner of the door frame would be a good place to set up shop... Since the door had just been opened, it had crammed itself up into the corner where I couldnt get to it with anything to squash it. I looked around the house, but no spider spray anywhere, so I left it alone. A while later, after the dogs wanted to go through the door again, Im reminded that this pest is still around, and so I grab a spray bottle of shout stain remover from the top of the dryer hoping to get the little bugger to move somewhere I can squash it. Two squirts later, its dead... Forget expensive bug sprays, just shout em out (What is in that stuff? Sprays marketed specifically to kill black widows dont do the job as fast as that did)
