Would he sleep in the blanket fort?? Ok... But I am not going to lay down in theres with you.... Finally, the storm cloud dissipated and the extremely exhausted boy conceded to lay down with me for the nightly ritual of a book and some nursing. Eventually, the boy said, Mom, I wouldnt have been able to sleep in that blanket fort anyway. Yes, and dont worry, William, tomorrow will be a better day. Yeah mom, and it will be a better night. Lesson learned: Always stick to the after diner routines, overtired three year olds can be dangerously explosive.
