Earlier this month at our Object Interpretation Workshop at the Swedish American Museum, CCA Core Members shared one object from their collections with public history students to start a conversation about possible interpretation stories for each object before visiting the Core Members to interpret one object for their assignment. Core Members who presented at the workshop were the Swedish American Museum, Chinese-American Museum of Chicago - Raymond B. & Jean T. Lee Center, Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago (ECAC), Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago, Haitian American Museum of Chicago-HAMOC, Indo-American Heritage Museum, Latvian Folk Art Museum, Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, and Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center.
