***** ***Early Morning Monday Thoughts*** I may have not watched the entire Super Bowl last night, but I saw enough to see an amazing story. It wasn’t necessarily the fact that the Seahawks beat the Broncos. But it did have something to do with the importance of that win and how a young quarterback by the name of Russell Wilson helped lead his team to a storybook triumph, and not just exceed the expectations of others, but NOT the expectations of themselves. It simply boils down to something that Russell Wilson’s dad use to tell him – “Why not you, Russ?” Just picture this for a moment – [5’11”, doubters at every stage of his career, 6th quarterback drafted in 2012]. Regardless of all of that, his Dad asked him: “Why not you, Russ?” He took that to heart and believed it enough that he took that message to his team: “Why not us? Why can’t we be there?” In SPITE of all of the challenges, in spite of all of the doubters, he said, “I believe I could be picked before all those guys, but it wasn’t going to affect me…I knew the Seattle Seahawks were going to pick me. I was going to make the 31 other teams regret it.” And that’s what he and the Seahawks did. I say all of this to help you and make this point – In spite of your current situation, in spite of your education, in spite of your circumstances, in spite of what ANYONE has ever told you – Why not you? Why not be retired early, why not have that house of your dreams, why not send your kids to the best colleges in country, why not be free of debt, why not rise above your circumstances, why not have the time freedom and financial freedom, Why Not You? getpaidwithrod *****
