Shirley (Linda Henry) is horrified to see Ben (Harry Reid) back in the square after he was jailed for killing her best friend Heather Trott in 2012. After furiously lashing out at him in the Vic, Dean (Matt Di Angelo) supports his mum and the two later share a tender moment. Having comforted Shirley in her hour of need, a drunken Dean later finds Tosh in the flat and shocks her with a surprise proposal. Dean suggests to Tosh that he could help her have a baby, but will she take him up on the offer? EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, September 23 at 7.30pm.
