~Easy and Simple Lasagna ~ 2 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce ( I make my own meat sauce but you can use your favorite store brand) 1/2 -1 cup water 8 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked (9 pieces) 1 (15 ounce) container part-skim ricotta cheese 1 egg 1/4 cup hlf and half 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1. Preheat oven to 375*. 2 . In saucepan, heat spaghetti sauce and water. 3. In a medium-sized bowl combine ricotta, 2 cups mozarella cheese, egg, parmesan cheese , half and half and parsley. 4. Pour 3/4 cup sauce in a 13 x 9 baking dish. 5. Arrange 3 pieces uncooked pasta over sauce. 6. Pour 1/2 cup sauce over pasta; spread with half of the mozarella-ricotta cheese mixture. 7. Cover cheese mixture with 1/2 cup sauce. 8. Repeat layers. 9. Top with pasta and remaining sauce. 10. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese. 11. Cover baking dish with foil and bake 50- 60 minutes. 12. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes 12. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
